Weightless

2019

Paul has only one wish he wants to fulfill for his dead mother. However, the fulfillment seems impossible. After basketball training he comes into conversation with Tim, who is also in a wheelchair. He convinces him to head for the mountain. By hitchhiking, they are picked up on their way by two American paragliders who are heading in the same direction. Shortly before their destination, something happens that could bring their plans to a halt.

This was my very first film project. I was very nervous when I approached the project. Looking back on that now, I would do a lot of things differently, but that’s usually the case. In retrospect, you’re always smarter and that’s the beauty of it. Still, it was a great project that I will never forget.
