Biography
Jakob Fessler, born in 2000 in Zurich, spent an exchange year in Texas, USA, before completing an apprenticeship in the hospitality industry. In January 2025, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Acting at the Bern University of the Arts (HKB) and is now continuing his studies there with a Master's in Acting for Screen and Digital Media.
Primarily active as an actor, he has appeared in numerous film and theater productions. Most recently, he performed in three productions at Bühnen Bern, including a lead supporting role in Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter. In the film Theo – A Conversation with Honesty, in which he played the lead role, he celebrated his world premiere at the 2022 Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn.
He made his directorial debut with the short film Till Death Do Us Part, which was screened at the Dallas Independent Film Festival in 2025.
